Typical grade requirements for Economics at Cambridge

View Project

All non-contextual offer requirements are at least A*A*A, and grade requirements vary between colleges and even between different offer-holders at certain colleges (for example, you may receive a harsher offer if you are pooled or performed sub-par in the admissions test).

Due to the huge mathematical demands of the course, colleges are increasingly becoming strict on Further Maths grades. For example, Danny received an A*A*A offer in Maths, Further Maths, Economics any order. However, in the recent cycle, his college gave several offers which required an A* in Further Maths and a B in physics (physics was unspecified for him).

If you are applying to Cambridge, it is very important to have a strong set of predicted grades and to be confident that you can achieve an A* in the three key A-Levels!
